I was just wondering is my art becoming worse or the dA community has taken some sort of sleeping pills? This is very frustrating especially when you're proud and confident about your latest artworks!  :bademoticon:

I know this is an old journal and i feel rather weird for commenting now, but i wanted to say that I do get your frustration. I've noticed a growing listlessness and apathy consuming the whole community for the past few years. For a time I thought it was me cause i've been rather inactive for a while but it's actually Deviantart. 

Or maybe it's also the fact that nowadays people are so overwhelmed by technology and you know, wanting everything at the click of a button that they probably feel like too much work to sit down and write a well thought comment or something. So yeah, I think it has to do more with the times we're living in than anything else.
